What to bring on a camping trip
.... Items vary on the time of year, but generally this should be the minimum to bring:
- Tent - must have rain fly
- Sleeping bags - (if cold make sure they are 20 degree rated - bring a liner or extra blankets)
- Sleeping mats/air mattresses (everyone will want to be off the ground. Beware of air mattresses they can make you colder
- Toiletries
- Extra pair of shoes
- Extra change of clothes
- Reuseable plates, utensils, cups and bowls
- Reusable water bottle/canteen
- Warm clothes (winter) plan on layers for wide temperature swings
- Gloves (colder months) workgloves (if applicable)
- Flashlights
- Bug Spray
- First Aid kit
